A. Purpose of Establishment

SUNGJIN Industry Co. hereby declares this Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management Policy in order to prevent potential accidents and disasters that may occur throughout all areas of business operations—including the supply chain, workplaces, distribution networks, and sales channels—while providing a safe and healthy working environment to ensure sustainable value in life.
This Occupational Health and Safety Management Policy has been established based on domestic and international laws and regulations related to occupational health and safety, OHS management standards and guidelines (such as ISO 45001), SUNGJIN Industry’s OHS management principles, and its strategic direction and goals for occupational health and safety management. ② We strive to internalize a strong safety culture through voluntary participation of all employees.
③ We promote continuous advancement of our safety management system through diverse perspectives and creative approaches.
④ We fulfill social expectations by achieving safety standards that exceed both internal and external legal and social requirements.

B. Scope of Application

This Occupational Health and Safety Management Policy applies to all workplaces of SUNGJIN Industry Co.

In addition, SUNGJIN Industry encourages stakeholders with business relationships—including suppliers, partners, and distribution networks—to adopt this policy and jointly promote expanded preventive safety inspections and activities that embed a safety culture.

SUNGJIN Industry complies with all applicable occupational health and safety laws and regulations and establishes and implements safety and health plans in accordance with this policy, within the scope permitted by such laws and regulations.

C. Implementation Framework

To effectively implement this Occupational Health and Safety Management Policy, SUNGJIN Industry establishes an Occupational Health and Safety Management System and continuously works to improve workplace safety and health. All workplaces shall: - establish OHS action plans,
- identify and reduce hazardous and risk factors,
- evaluate performance of safety and health activities, and
- develop corrective actions based on performance analysis.

SUNGJIN Industry encourages the acquisition of third-party certification for its OHS management system (such as ISO 45001) or the independent establishment of an internal OHS management system, taking into consideration relevant laws and regulations, market conditions, and industry-specific characteristics.

2. SUNGJIN Industry Co. establishes an occupational health and safety organizational system for the proactive prevention of safety accidents and creates an advanced workplace by reducing serious industrial accidents.

A. Improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety System

SUNGJIN Industry Co. establishes an integrated company-wide occupational health and safety organizational system to put safety-first management principles into practice. We operate key performance indicators (KPIs) to promote field-centered improvements in occupational health and safety levels.
In addition, we strengthen safety management by selecting improvement tasks to prevent serious accidents and conducting executive-led inspections of workplace safety and health management status.

[Key Objectives] Expand and reorganize the occupational health and safety organizational system to enhance accident prevention execution capabilities. Operate field-centered performance management indicators to prevent serious accidents and other incidents.

B. Focused Prevention of Serious Industrial Accidents

SUNGJIN Industry Co. expands strategic preventive inspection activities to continuously reduce serious industrial accidents and other workplace injuries.
We strengthen evaluation procedures and standards to reduce occupational health and safety risks arising from hazardous operating equipment and working environments.
Furthermore, we produce and distribute work guidelines for the prevention of serious accidents while increasing investment in safety and health systems and infrastructure.

[Key Objectives] Establish annual occupational health and safety investment plans and build verification and evaluation systems for execution. Strengthen safety leadership and operational effectiveness through safety and health guides and manuals.

C. Enhancing Employee Safety Awareness

SUNGJIN Industry Co. promotes safety awareness in daily work through the establishment of training platforms and occupational health and safety campaigns.
We also conduct emergency response drills to secure practical response capabilities, including initial actions, emergency evacuation, and fire suppression.

[Key Objectives] Introduce an education platform to expand and embed a safety culture. Expand occupational health and safety education and training to minimize operational disruption during emergencies.

D. Promoting Smart Occupational Health and Safety

SUNGJIN Industry Co. improves protective equipment and safety measures centered on high-risk processes in order to fundamentally eliminate serious accidents and hazard factors.
We focus our capabilities on building safety infrastructure such as identifying and analyzing hazardous workspaces, detecting unsafe work behavior, and providing alert systems.

E. Occupational Health and Safety Promotion Activities

Key Safety and Health Measures
① Risk Assessment: Identify hazardous and risk factors such as working environments, machinery and equipment, raw materials, gases, work behaviors, and other potential hazards, and take necessary measures to prevent risks and harm.
② Safety and Health Signage: Install warning signs for hazardous or dangerous areas, facilities, and materials, as well as emergency response guidance, in clearly identifiable locations.
③ Work Environment Safety Measures: Establish standards for managing areas with risks of falls, collapses, falling objects, entrapment, or other hazards, and conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
④ Machinery and Equipment Safety Measures: Implement protective measures considering the functions and characteristics of machinery and equipment, and perform maintenance and inspections to prevent potential risks.
⑤ Health Hazard Prevention and Protective Measures: Take necessary preventive and health measures to avoid health hazards caused by raw materials, gases, high temperatures, noise, and other factors.
⑥ Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Provide appropriate PPE for working environments, maintain spare protective equipment, and mandate the use of protective gear.
⑦ Occupational Safety and Health Diagnosis: Conduct safety and health assessments for high-risk areas where accidents such as falls, collapses, fires, explosions, or hazardous substance leaks may occur.
⑧ Emergency Response: Continue training based on emergency response scenarios for various disaster situations, and regularly inspect firefighting equipment and related safety devices.
⑨ Hazardous Substance Management: Maintain and provide material safety data sheets (MSDS) for handled hazardous substances, regularly measure physical and chemical hazards, and implement corrective actions.
⑩ Health Promotion Activities: Conduct regular health checkups to protect and maintain employee health, and operate programs to prevent occupational diseases (respiratory, musculoskeletal, etc.) and manage job-related stress.
⑪ Accident Investigation: Investigate the causes of accidents, establish recurrence prevention measures, regularly analyze industrial accident statistics, and reflect results in occupational health and safety performance goals.

A. Governance

SUNGJIN Industry Co. establishes an occupational health and safety implementation organization to carry out related responsibilities. The roles of this organization include: - establishing preventive safety and health plans
- preparing relevant regulations and procedures
- conducting workplace environment measurements
- investigating industrial accidents and establishing preventive measures
- maintaining equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- providing education and training
- implementing other necessary actions to prevent workplace hazards and risks

② Working-Level Cooperation Body
To ensure the effective implementation of occupational health and safety management principles and policies, SUNGJIN Industry Co. operates a regular working-level cooperation committee involving the safety and health organization, human resources management, procurement, and operational departments. This committee performs roles such as: - sharing understanding of occupational health and safety management
- sharing workplace risk information
- identifying programs to promote and embed a safety culture

③ Labor–Management Communication Body
SUNGJIN Industry Co. operates a joint labor–management communication body composed equally of employee and management representatives. This body jointly reviews and decides matters necessary to maintain and enhance occupational health and safety, while securing employee understanding and cooperation. B. Reporting and Response

① Receipt of Reports
SUNGJIN Industry Co. operates a designated department that can receive reports of occupational health and safety concerns arising during business operations from employees, partner companies, and other organizations or individuals.

SUNGJIN Industry Co. establishes response measures by considering overall factors such as workplace facility safety and internal operational procedures.
To ensure reported concerns and complaints are resolved, feedback and handling procedures will be implemented promptly and communicated within a reasonable timeframe.

C. Education and Awareness Expansion

① Education and Training
SUNGJIN Industry Co. provides occupational health and safety training for employees, partner companies, and other stakeholders. Through this, we: - improve awareness of the necessity of safety and health management - ensure safety and health are prioritized in all work processes - strengthen capabilities to respond immediately during emergencies

② External Cooperation
To enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of occupational health and safety management, SUNGJIN Industry Co. establishes cooperation systems with external professional institutions.
By sharing expertise and experience in OHS management system development and risk assessments, we continuously improve our safety and health framework.

D. Performance Management

① Setting Performance Improvement Goals
SUNGJIN Industry Co. sets and manages occupational health and safety performance improvement goals in order to: - strengthen safety-first management
- proactively prevent serious industrial accidents
- secure eco-friendly and advanced safety management capabilities These goals are established based on: - laws and regulations - industry trends in occupational safety and health - internal health and safety issues - safety performance data derived from leading and lagging indicators

② Monitoring Implementation Status
SUNGJIN Industry Co. regularly reviews the progress of performance improvement goals. This includes evaluating: - achievement rates against targets
- effectiveness of activities conducted to meet goals
- challenges encountered during implementation

If necessary, performance improvement goals may be adjusted based on review results.

③ Executive Performance Evaluation
SUNGJIN Industry Co. reflects occupational health and safety performance improvement goals and implementation status in executive KPIs. Executive evaluations consider not only goal achievement, but also: - identification of risk factors

SUNGJIN Industry Co. proactively monitors safety and health policy directions from government and related agencies and responds in advance.
We also correctly understand, comply with, and adhere to relevant laws, regulations, international standards, and guidelines.

② Employees
We share occupational health and safety principles and policies with employees and provide training to enhance awareness of safety management.
We faithfully implement safety and health-related collective agreements made with employees or employee representatives.

③ Partner Companies
SUNGJIN Industry Co. strengthens the occupational health and safety capabilities of partner companies by sharing know-how and experience in safety management.
We also support partner companies’ safety and health efforts to create value across the entire supply chain.

④ Local Communities
To eliminate or mitigate occupational health and safety risks to local communities arising from business operations, SUNGJIN Industry Co. collects feedback from local authorities.
We strive to identify and resolve concerns raised by the community.

This policy shall take effect as of December 2, 2025.
